Blog post title: Term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership

We have been learning all about What makes a good leader.

Here is a link to the Leadership modelling book.

We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are active thinker, resilient , integrity, goal focused, motivational and trustworthy.

The leadership trait that I think I show the most is trustworthy because I can be trusted by my friends and I know I can trust them.

The leadership trait I would most like to develop is motivation because I want to motivate my friends to do good things and achieve great things.

Something NEW I have learned about leadership is that there are different ways then just one to be an effective leader.

The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is describing leadership traits because I know a lot about them and how they can be effective with learning, school and life.

My next step in learning about leadership is to apply everything that I have learned about leadership to my own leadership roles.

My writing exposition conclusion.

To my conclusion, I believe that Richie MCcaw is a better leader and role model than Sir Edmund Hillary.

This is my reason why Richie MCcaw is a better leader than Sir Edmund Hillary.
Richie MCcaw wouldn't let one of his team mate's to die. That is what Sir Edmund Hillary did, left one of his friends to die. Richie would never do that, he loves every single team mate he has, loves his career and wouldn't leave it to die. He would keep it alive for aslong as he could. That is why I know Richie MCcaw is a better leader than Sir Edmund Hillary.

I achieved my goal by staying focused seeking help from my friends if needed also one of my friends google. Looking at quotes and being inspired by them.

My next step.

MY next step is to use my time wisely and not talk to my friends while working and to find more traits that are effective not just boring ones like kind.
